I did a lot of collages this year. I hope to do more after the Christmas season is over. I want to use my  Etsy store more regularly now. I probably wont do road shows so much. This summer I was down to four shows.

I want to get more involved in local art displays if possible. Currently, the art that I would want to show has all been sold to good homes. I need time in the studio, and am remembering the year and what I enjoyed making the most. I like the new collage work, and I think that it makes a good product for etsy.

Showtime

I am having to send in show applications and finding it hard to know just which ones will do.....seems to be very busy in August.  So far, I have sent in three shows. Two in Eagle River and one in Land o Lakes. As soon as the weather breaks, and I can comfortably work in the studio, the art will begin.

I have some ideas that I can't wait to try on canvas......

Alright, I am starting a new blog because I can't seem to access my old one. I cannot get the address I want, so I am keeping it simple, and calling it Eydie's Art. I have a new art season ahead of me and will try to keep it interesting. Today, I am applying for my first summer show. I will now the end of March if I am accepted through the jury process. Until then, think SUMMER.
